MATLAB TUTORIAL

GENERAL INFORMATION

The tutorial is aimed at participants of the lectures

  • Embedded Systems, Prof. Finkbeiner
  • Machine Learning, Jun.-Prof. Hein
  • Telecommunications I, Prof. Herfet

where Matlab is used in the practical exercises. The tutorial gives an introduction into the basics of Matlab. The course will be mainly useful for students who have not used Matlab before. The lecture can be attended by all interested students. For the practical part you have to register (write email to: hein@cs.uni-sb.de) since there is only a limited amount of places.

Note: This is not an introduction to Simulink as used in the lecture "Embedded Systems" nor the Signal Processing Toolbox as used in the lecture "Telecommunications I" but just provides the basics to work with Matlab.

LECTURE MATERIAL

Matlab is available on bio[01-27], cip[201-237] and cip[101-141].studcs.uni-sb.de.
The path is /usr/local/matlab/bin.

SLIDES AND EXCERCISES
